WMCA Board Minutes 5-13-2009 (cont.)
The committee will report the nominees to the Board of Directors at the September 9, 2009 WMCA Planning Meeting. The nominees will be presented to the membership at the September WMCA General Meeting with a vote at the November WMCA General Meeting.
X. Attendance at Frederick City and County Meetings
Carol Goldstein indicated that she would ask for volunteers to attend the county meetings at the May WMCA General Meeting and that she would also solicit volunteers for the county meetings in the Mill Monitor.
XI. Report on Board of Alderman Workshop (5/6)
Carol stated that she attended this meeting and would write a report for the WMCA web-site that would include the important transactions that occurred during this meeting.
XII. Calendar for Next Year
The Board of Directors decided that the dinners at the WMCA General Meetings would continue for the 2010 year. In addition, the Board of Directors would continue to explore the concept of having additional Panel Discussions beyond the WMCA General Meetings.
XIII. Neighborhood Advisory Meetings
It was agreed that the WMCA would maintain an active role in requesting Worman’s Mill citizens to attend the Neighborhood Advisory Meetings.
XIV. Contributions to Web –Site
Carol Goldstein requested that Allan Carlson provide space on the WMCA Web-Site for a Concerns Column that our Worman’s Mill citizens can contribute to on a regular basis. More
