WMCA Board Minutes 5-13-2009 (cont.)

Judy Haines submitted the following Treasurer’s Report as of May 13, 2009:

The Treasurer’s Report was approved by the Board of Directors.

It was decided to put on hold the idea of making a charitable contribution from the balance fund.  In the future, the Board may propose a charitable contribution to the Worman’s Mill community for the purpose of an improvement project or need.  Such a contribution would need the endorsement of the general membership at a WMCA General Meeting. There was consensual agreement that the Board of Directors should keep a reserve fund balance of at least $2,500.00 at all times.

V. Material for Next Mill Monitor
Carol Goldstein will include the following topics in her WMCA article for the Mill Monitor:  1) Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) update; 2) Candidates’ Forum information: format, candidates’ bios, questions requested from community, etc.; 3) the web-site address for dinner registrations; 4) the Board of Directors Planning Meeting on July 8th in the Clubhouse Card Room; and 5) the menu for the September WMCA General Meeting.  

VI. Web Site and E-Mail List Update
Allan Carlson reported that there had been 4,000 visitations since March 2009 to our WMCA web-site home page and that 639 inquiries were made from these visitations          More
